Porter and Chester Institute in Massachusetts is seeking an Electrical Instructor who brings real-world electrical experience into the classroom. You will teach hands-on skills using real equipment and real-world scenarios, helping students prepare for licensing and certification.

No teaching degree required; we provide curriculum, training, and ongoing support. This role offers full-time or part-time shifts, with no weekend emergency calls, and a path to a stable teaching career while remaining

• At least 3 years of hands-on electrical experience.

Electrical Instructor – Put Your Experience to Work (No Teaching Experience Needed)

Are you an experienced electrician who’s tired of the grind — emergency calls, long jobsite hours, tight crawl spaces, ladders all day, and the wear-and-tear on your body?

This is your chance to stay in the trade, share what you know, and build a stable, rewarding career training the next of electrical professionals.

We’re looking for industry professionals, not career teachers. If you know electrical work, we’ll teach you how to teach.

What You’ll Be Doing

As an Electrical Instructor, you’ll bring real‑world experience into the classroom and lab, showing students how the trade actually works — not just how it looks in a book.

You will:

• Teach hands‑on electrical skills using real equipment and real‑world scenarios
• Demonstrate proper installation, wiring methods, and safety procedures
• Share jobsite knowledge, troubleshooting techniques, and code best practices
• Mentor students at different skill levels — from beginners to advanced learners
