Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Electrical Installer to join our team and grow with our culture. You will install, program, start-up and train customers on Fire, Security, and Building Automation systems on small to medium projects.

You should have basic construction skills, blueprints literacy, and hands-on electrical/tool experience. Join us to contribute to our values-driven, inclusive workplace and protect lives and assets.

Qualifications

• Basic construction skills and understanding of system plans.
• Basic ability to read blueprints, design drawings including wiring and labeling methods, system wiring, wiring methods, and cable support installation (J-Hook, Raceway, Conduit, Cable Support).
• Basic mechanical and electrical aptitude with hand and power tools; ability to read blueprints and drawings; solid math skills.

Responsibilities

• Installing, programming, system start-up/check-out, certification, and related customer training on assigned Fire, Security, and/or Building Automation projects.
• May work on larger projects with greater complexity as needed and able.
• Delivers assigned projects effectively and within budgeted cost and time schedules with guidance as needed.
