Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a skilled laborer to assist electricians in installing electrical systems across various sites. You will work with tools, install conduit and lighting, and support crew members while maintaining safety and organization on the job site.

The position requires lifting up to 50 pounds regularly and working at heights as needed. Eligibility includes a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of electrical experience.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED); or equivalent studies.
• Minimum of one year of previous electrical work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Learn the electrical trade and assist electricians and crew members.
• Bend and install conduit systems and pull wire.
• Install light fixtures and connect to branch power.
• Perform other activities as instructed by foreman/crew leader.
• Gather and transport required tools and materials to the work areas.
• Provide assistance to more skilled workers involved in installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and components.
• Perform physically demanding tasks, such as digging trenches to lay conduit and moving heavy objects.
• Work from ladders, scaffolds, and aerial lifts.
• Maintain safe working habits and keep tools and area organized.
