Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking an Electrician Apprentice to assist in installing electrical equipment according to plans, codes, and industry standards.

You will join a team that builds and maintains mission-critical facilities and secure environments, with outdoor work in varied weather conditions. This role requires a high school diploma or GED, reliability, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to work overtime, nights, and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must pass a background check and drug test.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Overtime may be required, including night and weekend work.
• Willingness to work outdoors and handle physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical wiring and components according to blueprints and layouts.
• Install and mount electronic controls, devices, panels, sensors and components.
• Perform interlock wiring and test circuits for safety and compliance.
• Read contract drawings and determine materials requirements and procedures.
• Troubleshoot EMS systems, smart breakers, and relays.
