Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Electrical Installer in Florida who is enthusiastic, results-driven and customer-focused. You will join a dynamic team that values growth, integrity and a positive culture while delivering high-quality installation, startup and training on electrical, fire alarm, and building automation projects.

You will read blueprints, handle basic construction tasks, use hand and power tools, and collaborate with project teams to meet schedules and budgets.

Qualifications

• Education: High School/GED or equivalent experience.
• Minimum Experience: Basic construction with some level of electrical or a low voltage background.
• Preferred Experience: 1-3 years in relevant industries such as electronic/electrical, fire alarm & life safety, data-cable installation or building automation.

Responsibilities

• Installing, programming, system start-up/check-out, certification, and related customer training on Fire, Security, and/or Building Automation projects.
• May work on larger projects with greater complexity as needed and able.
• Delivers assigned projects effectively and within budgeted cost and time schedules with guidance as needed.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.
