Job summary

Convergint is looking for an Electrical Installer to join our team in Fort Myers, FL. This full-time position involves installing, programming, system start-up/check-out, certification, and customer training on Fire, Security, and Building Automation projects, typically small to medium in scope with guidance as needed.

You should have basic construction skills and the ability to read blueprints, plus basic mechanical and electrical aptitude.

Qualifications

• Education: High School/GED or equivalent experience.
• Minimum Experience: Basic construction with some level of electrical or a low voltage background.
• Preferred Experience: 1-3 years in electronic/electrical, fire alarm & life safety, data-cable installation or building automation.

Responsibilities

• Installing, programming, system start-up/check-out, certification, and related customer training on Fire, Security, and/or Building Automation projects.
• Deliver projects effectively within budgeted cost and time schedules with guidance as needed.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.
