Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Electrical Installer to join our team in Pleasanton, CA. You will lead installing, programming, startup, and customer training on complex Fire, Security, and Building Automation projects, while delivering on time and within budget.

You will supervise other Installers, read blueprints, and apply strong mechanical and electrical skills in a customer-focused environment. A minimum 5–7 years of construction experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proficient construction skills and understanding of system plans.
• Excellent understanding of blueprints, design drawings including wiring methods and cable routing.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with ability to read blueprints and drawings.
• Excellent customer focus and ability to work under pressure.
• Minimum 5–7 years of relevant construction experience including electrical or low voltage work.

Responsibilities

• Lead the installing, programming, system start-up/check-out, certification, and related customer training on Fire, Security, and/or Building Automation projects.
• Deliver assigned projects within budget and schedule with minimal guidance.
• Supervise other Installers and coordinate field activities.
