What You'll Do

• Participate in our Recruit Awesome People program to help grow Convergint by promoting our colleague-first culture and referring top talent.
• Lead the installation, programming, system start-up/check-out, certification, and customer training on Fire, Security, and Building Automation projects, primarily larger and more complex ones.
• Deliver projects effectively within budget and schedule with minimal guidance.
• Supervise other Installers.
• Perform additional duties as required.

What You'll Need

• Proficient construction skills and understanding of system plans.
• Excellent understanding of blueprints, design drawings, wiring, and labeling methods.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, manuals, and specifications independently.
• Strong customer focus and ability to work under pressure.
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude, familiarity with hand and power tools, and solid math skills.

Requirements

Education: High School/GED or equivalent experience

Minimum Experience: 5-7 years in construction, electrical, or low voltage work

Preferred Experience: Industry experience in electrical, fire alarm & life safety, data cabling, or building automation (not required)
