Job summary

Epcon is seeking an experienced Electrical Inspector to support facility-based work across multiple sites in the Upper Midwest. This 6-month assignment covers medium- to high-voltage electrical systems with a focus on automation of valves and process equipment at active process facilities.

Responsibilities include inspecting electrical components and systems, verifying installations for compliance with project specs and codes, documenting findings, and coordinating with site personnel,

Qualifications

• Strong background in process facility environments with hands-on experience in electrical components and systems.
• Demonstrated experience with medium- to high-voltage electrical inspection.
• Familiarity with automated valve and process equipment systems.
• Working knowledge of relevant electrical codes and industry standards.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to travel to multiple site locations for the duration of the assignment.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection of electrical components and systems at medium- to high-voltage facility sites
• Inspect automated valve and process equipment installations for compliance with project specifications and applicable codes
• Verify proper installation, wiring, and integration of electrical components within process facility environments
• Document inspection findings, non-conformances, and corrective actions
• Coordinate with site personnel, engineers, and project management to ensure quality and safety standards are met
• Travel between multiple job sites throughout Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Illinois as needed
