Job summary

Qualifications

• 6 years proven work experience as an Electrical Inspector in construction.
• Certification as a Licensed Electrician or Electrical Inspector.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations in construction.
• Attention to detail and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and follow regulations and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of electrical systems, wiring, equipment, and fixtures in construction projects to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Review construction blueprints, specifications, and work orders to determine necessary procedures for electrical installations.
• Test electrical systems for safety and quality assurance.
• Identify violations of regulations and recommend corrective actions to maintain compliance in construction projects.
• Maintain detailed documentation of inspection findings and keep accurate records of all inspections conducted.
• Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders to communicate inspection results and coordinate necessary corrections.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest electrical codes, regulations, and industry standards relevant to construction projects.
