Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct residential and/or commercial electrical inspections for code compliance.
• Review electrical installations for compliance with applicable codes and standards.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and documentation.
• Submission of work orders to utility companies.
• Communicate inspection findings clearly to contractors, owners, and municipal representatives.
• Provide technical guidance regarding code requirements and corrective actions.
• Coordinate inspection schedules with permit applicants and municipal clients.
• Maintain accurate records and timely submission of reports.
• Attend training and continuing education programs as required.

Role Description

The Electrical Inspector will perform electrical inspections in accordance with the Pennsylvania Uniform Construction Code (UCC), ICC and NEC codes. The successful candidate will work closely with contractors, homeowners, municipal officials, and fellow inspectors while representing BHW's commitment to professionalism, responsiveness, and technical expertise.
