Job summary

Guardian Electrical Compliance Ltd is seeking an experienced Electrical Inspector to carry out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) across commercial and industrial sites in the UK.

You will identify hazards, document non‑compliance, and provide detailed recommendations, while staying up to date with BS 7671 and IET Wiring Regulations. A UK driving licence is essential and the role is a permanent, full‑time on‑site position in Motherwell.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical inspection or a related field.
• City & Guilds 2391-52 (or equivalent) qualification in Inspection and Testing.
• NVQ Level 3 Qualification.
• IET BS7671:2018 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
• Valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough EICRs in commercial and industrial settings.
• Identify and report defects, safety hazards, and non‑compliance issues.
• Provide clear, detailed reports with recommendations for corrective actions.

The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Electrical Inspector to join our team at Guardian Electrical Compliance. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) across a variety of commercial and industrial sites, ensuring all electrical systems are fully compliant with industry standards and safety regulations. You will use your expertise to identify potential hazards, document non‑compliance issues, and provide actionable recommendations to clients.

Additional Job Details:

• Position Type: Permanent, Full Time (Available Immediately)
• Salary Range: £48,367.80 - £50,661 base salary (With travel pay included, total annual earnings range from £55k to £77k)
• Location: Motherwell
• Annual Leave: 22 days of annual leave plus 8 bank holidays
