Job summary

Hinterland Group is seeking an Electrician Helper to support licensed electricians on job sites in the New York area. You will assist with installations, repairs, and maintenance of electrical systems, while handling tools, materials, and cable under supervision.

Day-to-day duties include running wire, conduit, and cable, preparing sites, measuring and bending conduit, and ensuring a clean, safe work environment with proper PPE.

Qualifications

• Experience assisting licensed electricians is preferred.
• Ability to carry materials and tools to electricians as needed.
• Strong adherence to safety procedures and PPE usage.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed electricians with installations, repairs, and maintenance of electrical systems.
• Carry, organize, and hand tools and materials to electricians as needed.
• Help run and pull wire, conduit, and cable.
• Prepare job sites by gathering and staging materials and equipment.
• Measure, cut, and bend conduit as directed.
• Load and unload materials and equipment at job sites.
• Maintain and organize tools and equipment.
• Keep the work area, truck, and job site clean and safe.
• Follow all safety procedures and report unsafe conditions.
