Job summary

CEC Companies is seeking an Electrical Helper 1 to assist experienced electricians with basic tasks like materials handling, housekeeping and simple installations. This safety-sensitive role requires a current Apprentice Electrical License, a valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Current Apprentice Electrical License.
• Driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in securing, relocating, and organizing materials and small tools.
• Keep work area clean and dispose of scrap and excess materials.
• Assist in pulling wire, lifting, hoisting, and positioning materials.
• May operate hand tools and equipment under direct supervision of a Foreman or senior electrician.
• Digs trenches using hand tools.
• Assist in mounting and strapping.
• May assist senior personnel in less complicated electrical installations under supervision
• Meets attendance standards and complies with late/absence procedures.
• DOES NOT WORK ON ENERGIZED CIRCUITS OR EQUIPMENT.
• Performs other related duties to ensure efficient processes.
