Amteck, LLC is seeking Electrician Helpers to support our service departments on construction projects. Ideal candidates live within commuting distance or are willing to relocate to multiple locations and will work under Journeyman electricians, gaining hands-on experience and safety training.

The role offers potential growth through Amteck's accredited apprenticeship program toward Journeyman licensure, with benefits and a 401K as part of long-term opportunities in the electrical contracting

Qualifications

Primary Role

Electrician Helpers work under the supervision and direction of Journeyman Electricians, foreman, and other leadership on the construction project. Helpers will perform duties as assigned within their assessed skill level, and will have the opportunity to enroll in Amteck's accredited apprenticeship program to work and study toward achieving Journeyman classification and licensure. Electrician helpers will also have the opportunity to learn and grown in other divisions of Amteck, like low voltage, controls, process work, and fire alarm along with other skill sets within the electrical trade.

Requirements

2+ years of electrical experience on commercial or industrial sites Experience with running/bending Rigid and EMT conduit OSHA 10 preferred but not required Experience working alongside a Journeyman Electrician
