Job summary

Comfort Systems USA is seeking Electrician Helpers in Lexington, KY, offering opportunities for apprenticeship and career growth within the electrical trade. Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of electrical experience, particularly on commercial or industrial sites.

Helpers will work under the supervision of Journeyman Electricians and can expect to learn various skill sets including low voltage and process work. Benefits such as a401K are provided.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of electrical experience on commercial or industrial sites.
• Experience with running and bending Rigid and EMT conduit.
• OSHA 10 preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Work under the supervision of Journeyman Electricians and foremen.
• Perform duties as assigned within assessed skill levels.
• Have the opportunity to enroll in an accredited apprenticeship program.

Primary Role

Electrician Helpers work under the supervision and direction of Journeyman Electricians, foreman, and other leadership on the construction project. Helpers will perform duties as assigned within their assessed skill level, and will have the opportunity to enroll in Amteck’s accredited apprenticeship program to work and study toward achieving Journeyman classification and licensure. Electrician helpers will also have the opportunity to learn and grow in other divisions of Amteck, like low voltage, controls, process work, and fire alarm along with other skill sets within the electrical trade.

Requirements

• 2+ years of electrical experience on commercial or industrial sites
• Experience with running/bending Rigid and EMT conduit
• OSHA 10 preferred but not required
• Experience working alongside a Journeyman Electrician
