Job summary

RES in Balmorhea, TX is seeking an experienced equipment operator to perform civil/electrical duties safely and efficiently at the project site. You will operate backhoe, loader, roller, rock truck, blade, excavator, dozer, forklift for crane erection, and perform pre-inspections, monitor usage, report issues, and maintain the site.

This role requires travel as needed, adherence to OSHA procedures and PPE requirements, and strong communication skills to ensure project goals are met and timelines

Qualifications

• Experience in construction equipment operation across multiple machine types.
• Must be certified on site for heavy/light equipment and present certification cards.
• Willingness to travel and work away from home as required.
• Ability to follow OSHA procedures and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently performing Civil/Electrical duties at the project site.
• Operate backhoe, loader, roller and rock truck, and other listed equipment.
• Inspect loads, perform pre-inspection checks, monitor equipment, and report results.
• Maintain equipment and perform preventive maintenance; notify supervisor of malfunctions.
• Follow directions, maintain organized site and comply with PPE/OSHA rules.
