• Create documentation for purchase and construction of machine electrical systems.

Electrical Harness Design Engineer – Creo

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Harness Design Engineer with strong experience in electrical component/system design, electrical integration, harness design, and electrical schematics.

The ideal candidate will have experience designing electrical layouts for off-highway machines, particularly mining and construction products, with hands‑on experience in electrical routing and design documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems and harnesses for mining and construction products.
• Complete concept development and finalize electrical integration designs.
• Determine appropriate electrical components, including AMP requirements, lugs, and related components.
• Develop and route electrical systems while meeting design and manufacturing requirements.
• Develop requirements and specifications for electrical equipment supporting power, modularity, and footprint requirements.
• Integrate specified components to develop comprehensive power distribution networks.
• Create documentation required for the purchase and construction of machine electrical systems.
• Design, check, and release new drawings and engineering documentation.
• Support cross-functional teams, suppliers, and manufacturing engineers to deliver optimized and manufacturable designs.
• Stay current with new technologies and support technology development.
