Job summary

PlanIT Group, LLC is seeking an experienced technician to repair or assemble electrical components for production aircraft support. You will provide technical support to engineers, create engineering documentation, and record test data for analysis.

You will fabricate electronic/electrical chassis and mechanical racks from development drawings, using hand tools and SMT processes as needed. AA in Electrical or Electronics preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience reading electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Knowledge of J-STD-001 and IPC-610 processes.
• Hands-on experience with surface mount technology and hand soldering.
• Familiarity with electronic hand tools used in manufacturing.
• Ability to follow complex work instructions and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Repair or assembly of electrical components for production aircraft support.
• Provide technical support to engineers on technical tasks and tests.
• Produce engineering documentation, reports, and schematics.
• Record data from tests and assist with evaluation/analysis.
• Fabricate electronic/electrical chassis and mechanical racks per drawings.
