Electrical Hardware Engineer - UHF RFID Systems

Powercast is seeking an Electrical Hardware Design Engineer to develop advanced UHF RFID reader systems. The role involves electrical design, schematic capture, PCB layout, and full product lifecycle support.

Responsibilities include:

  • Designing electrical hardware for RFID systems
  • Creating schematics and PCB layouts
  • Component selection, performance and cost analysis
  • Collaborating with engineering teams
  • Supporting manufacturing and field deployment

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering or related
  • 5+ years in hardware design for embedded or RF products
  • Proficiency in schematic capture tools
  • Experience with power regulation, mixed-signal circuits, and lab testing

Preferred Skills:

  • RFID systems experience
  • RF design principles and PCB layout for high-frequency signals
  • Embedded Linux, scripting, version control skills
