Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer for Starlink satellites in Redmond to own the hardware lifecycle from concept to production. You will work on high‑reliability electronics, system trades, schematic capture, PCB layout, hardware bring‑up, and on‑orbit performance in a cross‑functional environment with mechanical, thermal, software, and RF teams.

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or physics.
• 1+ years of experience designing circuits, electronic products, or hardware.
• Strong Python and C/C++ programming skills.

Responsibilities

• Rapidly develop high‑reliability electronics for satellites and spacecraft.
• Drive system trades, requirements capture, component selection, schematic capture, PCB layout, prototyping, hardware bring‑up, debugging, and testing.
• Work with adjacent disciplines to deliver integrated, high‑performance hardware.
