Job summary

Veriipro in Houston, TX seeks an experienced Power Electronics Hardware Engineer with 6+ years in design and development. You will work on power supply topologies, analog design and HV handling while collaborating across departments to deliver robust prototypes.

Role requires hands-on experience with LT Spice, OrCAD PSPICE, PADS, PCB tools, and strong communication skills. Oil & gas sector exposure is a plus. On-site position in Houston.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in power electronics hardware design and development.
• Strong understanding of power supply topologies and conversion.
• Experience in analog and filter design.
• Component selection, sizing and worst-case analysis.
• Hands-on LT Spice and OrCAD PSPICE experience.
• PADS-based logic, layout, schematics and PCB tools knowledge.
• Design verification, testing and troubleshooting expertise.
• Lab and advanced measurement equipment hands-on experience.
• Exposure to high voltage (~600V) handling.
• Magnetics design familiarity.
• Prototype building support and cross-functional coordination.
• Technical presentation and reporting skills.
• High temperature electronics for oil & gas industry is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
