Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise seeks a Graduate Electrical Hardware Engineer to design portions of electrical and electronic subsystems from established specifications. The role is onsite, primarily at a Hewlett Packard Enterprise office in Texas, and targets graduates within a year of completing their degree.

You will collaborate with internal and outsourced partners to deliver reliable, cost-effective solutions for low to moderately complex products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (Graduated within 1 year of start date).
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience or understanding of electrical design tools and software packages.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; mastery of English.
• Good at partnering, innovating, and making things happen.

Responsibilities

• Design portions of engineering solutions for electrical and electronic parts, subsystems, integrated circuitry, and algorithms based on established engineering principles and in accordance with provided specifications and requirements.
• Implement established test plans for existing designs, including validation of tolerances, form/fit/function, shock and vibration, EMI, safety, reliability, thermal generation, and system power measurements.
• Develop an understanding of and relationship with internal and outsourced development partners on electrical hardware design and development.
• Participate as a member of a project team of other electrical hardware engineers and internal and outsourced development partners to develop reliable, cost-effective, and high-quality solutions for low to moderately-complex products.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
