Job summary

ITAC in Norfolk, VA is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrical General Foreman to lead on-site electrical projects and mentor crews. You will read schematics, plan work, and ensure safety and quality on multi‑site assignments.

The role involves hands‑on electrical duties with competitive hourly pay and benefits, supporting long‑term career growth within a 100% employee‑owned company.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Industrial Electrical General Foreman.
• Ability to manage multiple projects on a single site.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Willingness to perform hands‑on electrical work.
• Experience mentoring and guiding Foremen, Journeymen, and Apprentices.
• Familiarity and working experience with Procore or similar construction management software.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee multiple industrial electrical projects on a site.
• Mentor foremen, journeymen, and apprentices to support workforce development.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints for project planning.
• Coordinate with project teams and ordering of materials.
• Utilize Procore or similar software for project management.

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously within a single industrial site.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Willingness and capability to perform hands‑on electrical work as needed.
• Experience in mentoring and guiding Foremen, Journeymen, and Apprentices to support workforce development.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints; able to assist in project planning and ordering material.
• Familiarity and working experience with Procore or similar construction management software.

Hourly: $41.34 to $47.11 overtime opportunites available (Based on experience)
