Job summary

Conductor Power in Montana is seeking an Electrical Foreman to lead on-site electrical construction within solar and utility projects. You’ll supervise a crew, enforce safety, and ensure installations meet plans and codes.

This role requires 3–5 years hands-on experience, NEC knowledge, OSHA 10, and willingness to travel. We offer strong benefits and opportunities to grow with a premier renewables contractor.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on electrical construction experience, including solar or renewable energy projects; supervisory or crew lead experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical installations, plans and schematics, NEC requirements, construction safety, and solar electrical systems.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• OSHA 10 certification required; OSHA 30 preferred, with a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work 100% travel and perform jobsite activities including walking, climbing stairs, navigating uneven terrain, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and assign daily tasks to electricians, apprentices, operators, and laborers.
• Ensure electrical installations meet project specifications, applicable codes, and safety standards.
• Assist with daily work planning, troubleshoot field issues, and communicate schedule or resource impacts to the General Foreman.
• Track labor hours and productivity, maintain daily logs, and coordinate tools, materials, and inventory.
• Lead safety meetings, enforce jobsite expectations, and mentor junior team members to promote skill development and safe work practices.
