Job summary

Trotter Workforce is seeking a seasoned Electrical Project Manager in Schwenksville, PA to oversee commercial and industrial electrical projects. You will coordinate field operations, manage crews, ensure compliance with NEC and OSHA 30, and deliver projects on schedule and within budget.

The role requires 8+ years in the field, 3+ years of team leadership, experience with medium voltage (>1kV), and proficiency reading electrical drawings and specs.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience and education in commercial and industrial electrical projects (Medium Voltage)
  • 3+ years of experience leading a team of electricians
  • Underground duct bank and transformer vault experience
  • Comfortable with high reach, scissor lift, or bucket truck
  • Solid grounding/bonding knowledge for electrical systems
  • Strong communication, professional demeanor and detail orientation
  • OSHA 30 certification is required
  • NEC knowledge is essential
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Formal schooling and a four-year electrical program completed

Responsibilities

  • Manage commercial and industrial electrical projects.
  • Lead a team of electricians and assign daily tasks.
  • Track manpower and ensure efficient execution.
  • Site management and ensuring materials are on site to complete scope.
  • Deliver projects within scheduled deadlines and budgets.
  • Coordinate and communicate project updates with the office (change orders etc.).
  • Maintain strong on-site communication with supervisor and other trades.
  • Prepare and deliver as-builts and closeout documentation.

  • Responsible for managing commercial and industrial electrical projects
  • Experience working with medium voltages greater than 1kV
  • Experience reading and interpreting electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications while adhering to electrical codes
  • Hands on experience bending an installing RMC, IMC, and EMT
  • Experience leading a team of electricians and assigning required daily tasks
  • Tracking manpower for specific tasks and assuring efficient execution
  • Job-site management ensuring the proper materials are onsite to perform the scope of work required to be completed
  • Successful completion of projects within scheduled deadlines and budgets
  • Coordinating and communicating project updates with the office team regarding change orders and other pertinent project information
  • Strong communication with the onsite supervisor and other trades
  • Able to complete and deliver as-builts and project closeout documentation
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience and education in commercial and industrial electrical projects working withMedium Voltage
  • Must have 3+ years of experience leading a team of electricians
  • Possess underground duct bank and transformer vault experience
  • Capable of working in a high reach, scissor lift, and or bucket truck
  • Must possess a solid understanding of grounding and bonding requirements for electrical systems
  • Possess excellent communication skills, professional demeanor, and detail oriented
  • Must be certified in OSHA 30
  • Must possess strong knowledge of NEC
  • Must have valid driver's license
  • Formal schooling preferred in the electrical field
  • Four year accredited electrical school required
  • Experience operating heavy equipment a plus
  • Class CDL B is a plus
