Job summary

Qualifications

• A minimum of three years experience on construction projects in a Healthcare Foreman.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents.
• Effective communication skills.
• Knowledge of construction scheduling, cost control, and ability to control and supervise small to midsized groups.
• Good organization, multi-tasking, leadership, and decision-making ability.
• Basic computer skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans and supervises activities including method, sequencing, manpower, materials, equipment, and schedule.
• Trains and manages other field staff.
• Manages day-to-day activities of the construction operation through Foremen.
• With PM, creates and maintains project schedule and monitors milestones.
• Communicates site problems, conflicts, and quality issues to PM and owner.
• Resolves field construction problems.
• Maintains open communication with subcontractors to support schedule and materials.
• Monitors safety program compliance and conducts toolbox talks.
• Assists Safety in investigations and follow-up.
• Understands subcontractors’ scopes and ensures schedule/quality compliance.
• Assist PM with disputes, quality control, and schedule coordination.
• Works with PM and owner reps to ensure work meets drawings/specs.
• Supports PM in claims/change negotiation and cost forecasts.
• Assists with Change Order review and project close-out.
