Job summary

Facility Solutions Group is seeking an Electrical Foreman to supervise crews in installation or repair of electrical systems at the Indianapolis site. The ideal candidate has foreman experience, a solid work history, integrity, and reliability, and is ready to grow with the company.

The role focuses on coordinating schedules with other trades, managing timelines and budgets, and ensuring safety and quality standards on site.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree
• Valid Driver's License
• Experienced electricians in commercial construction and lighting
• MUST be able to pass a drug and background screen
• Ability to multitask while staying organized
• Strong verbal and written communications skills
• Positive customer service skills
• Experience in crew leading and/or foreman on new ground-up construction projects

Responsibilities

• Assign all FSG Electric field electricians' tasks to meet project timelines and coordinate with other trades.
• Work with Project Manager to understand project timelines and budgets.
• Coordinate materials, tools, equipment, information and manpower to meet project timelines and budgets.
• Oversee office correspondence and administrative paperwork such as forms, daily reports, time sheets/tickets, safety reports, etc.
• Report manpower forecasting to Project Manager by establishing work schedules and crew requirements.
• Inspect and enforce workmanship to meet FSG quality standards.
• Continually train and develop subordinate staff to promote career development.
• Ensure crew safety and compliance with safety processes and protocols.

As one of the nation's largest single-source providers of lighting and electrical products, electrical services, electrical construction, and energy management solutions is expanding their staff and seeking an Electrical Foreman to join the FSG - Indianapolis team.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As an Electrical Foreman, you will be responsible for supervising and running crews involved in the installation or repair of electrical systems, or you may be the primary jobsite supervisor on smaller construction. The ideal candidates have previous Foreman experience, a solid employment track record, demonstrate integrity and reliability. We are looking for career-minded candidates who are willing to learn and grow with the company.

An Electrical Foreman will:

• Responsible, with direction from FSG Project Manager, for assigning all FSG Electric field electrician's tasks to adhere to project timelines. Work alongside and coordinate schedules with other trades. Schedule and supervise subcontractor scopes of work.


• Working with FSG Project Manager to understand project timelines and budgets.


• Responsible for coordinating materials, tools, equipment, information and appropriate manpower to meet project timelines and budgets.


• Responsible for overseeing the disposition of required office correspondence and administrative paperwork such as official forms, daily reports, time sheets/tickets, safety reports, etc.


• Responsible for reporting manpower forecasting to Project Manager by establishing work schedules and crew requirements.


• Inspect and enforce workmanship of crew to ensure that FSG quality standards are met.


• Continually train and develop subordinate staff to promote career development.


• Responsible for crew or project safety performance. Assures employees are properly trained or instructed in performance of duties to which assigned. Assures compliance with all FSG Electric safety processes and protocols. Investigates or assists in investigation and reporting of any accident or safety incidents involving jobsite employees.
