Job summary

Zachry Group in Roxboro, NC seeks an Industrial Electrician with 4+ years’ experience and 2+ years in supervision. The role requires reading blueprints, working on high voltage systems, and leading a crew of journeymen and helpers on installation projects.

You will install and modify cable trays, bend conduit, pull wiring, test components, and maintain safe operations at heights above 300 ft. Candidates must meet physical requirements, have reliable transportation, and follow all safety

Qualifications

• 4+ years as Industrial Electrician
• 2+ years in supervisory role
• Proficiency reading blueprints/schematics
• Experience with high voltage systems
• Lead a crew of journeymen/helpers
• Maintain records of time, costs, equipment, personnel
• Knowledge of lockout/tagout and safety regulations

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and specifications to determine scope, materials and sizes
• Identify tools required for tasks
• Identify safety risks and precautions
• Lead crew in daily safe operations
• Manage workloads, supplies, equipment and reporting
• Cut, bend and run conduit as specified
• Install/modify/fabricate cable tray as needed
• Pull cable through pathways
• Assemble and install electrical equipment
• Terminate wires/cables to breakers, panels and distributions
• Test components for continuity and proper voltage
• Inspect equipment for hazards and operability
• Set up and maintain temporary power systems
• Install and maintain grounding systems
