Job summary

Industrial Power Solutions, a Sundt Company, is seeking an experienced Foreman to lead electrical construction crews across industrial, manufacturing, and water/wastewater projects in Phoenix. This role directs daily field activities, coordinates manpower and materials, and ensures safe, efficient work that meets project requirements.

The Foreman collaborates with Superintendents, Project Managers, and customers to maintain safety, quality, and workmanship standards while mentoring apprentices

Qualifications

• 5+ years of electrical construction experience.
• 2+ years in a Foreman or equivalent field leadership role.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, construction methods, NEC requirements, and safety regulations.
• Experience leading electrical crews and coordinating daily field activities.
• Must be able to read and understand electrical drawings, specifications, safety requirements, and project schedules.
• Possess effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise assigned electrical crews, including Journeymen, apprentices, and helpers.
• Coordinate daily manpower, materials, tools, and equipment to support project schedules.
• Plan and direct daily crew activities based on project schedules, drawings, specifications, and field conditions.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and project requirements to ensure work is installed correctly and efficiently.
• Coordinate daily construction activities with the Superintendent, General Foreman, Project Manager, vendors, and other trades.
• Provide direction, training, and mentoring to apprentices, helpers, and less experienced electricians.
• Conduct field inspections to ensure work meets company standards, project specifications, NEC requirements, and quality expectations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area and ensure crew members follow all safety requirements.
