Job summary

GMEA Services is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to join our team as an Electrical Foreman on commercial and industrial sites in Georgia. You will lead field crews, install and repair electrical systems, and ensure work meets NEC standards and safety requirements.

The ideal candidate has a valid Journeyman Electrician license, strong blueprint reading skills, and the ability to work both independently and with a team. Travel per diem is not provided, and local candidates are preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid TDLR Journeyman Electrician License.
• Proficient in reading blueprints and electrical diagrams.
• Strong understanding of NEC standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems and perform necessary repairs efficiently.
• Collaborate with project managers and other team members to complete jobs on schedule.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, organized work environment.
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.

Position Overview:

The Journeyman Electrician will be responsible for performing electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs on commercial and industrial job sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, solid technical skills, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with industrial automation, controls, or robotics.
