Job summary

Jet Industries Inc. in Oregon is seeking a skilled journeyman electrician to install electrical distribution equipment, panels, wiring, and lighting systems on our diverse construction projects.

You will read blueprints, install conduits, troubleshoot wiring, and support on-site teams with safety and quality. A valid Oregon Journeyman's License or ability to obtain one is required, and basic English communication is essential for safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Oregon Journeyman's License (or ability to obtain) required.

Responsibilities

• Install electrical distribution equipment, services, and panels.
• Install in-ground conduits and lighting/lighting control systems.
• Install wiring including NM, MC, single conductor, and conduit systems (EMT, PVC, rigid).
• Install low-voltage systems and troubleshoot/repair wiring and devices.
• Read complex blueprints, piping, sketches, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Operate hand tools, diagnostic hardware, and testing instruments.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Installation of electrical distribution equipment, services, and panels
• Installation of in-ground conduits
• Installation of lighting and lighting control systems
• Installations of wiring, including but not limited to NMB, MC, single conductor cable, and conduit (EMT, PVC, and rigid) systems
• Installation of low-voltage systems
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical wiring, lighting, and devicesRead complex blueprints, piping, sketches, schematics, and wiring diagrams
• Operates a variety of equipment, such as hand tools and diagnostic hardware
• Operates various measuring, diagnostic, and testing instruments

Minimum Qualifications And Experience

• The ability to get an Oregon Journeyman's License.
• Basic Proficiency in English required. Candidates must have a basic understanding of English for safety purposes and to communicate with colleagues, vendors, and contractors on-site effectively. The ability to follow instructions and engage with the team is essential for success in this role.
