Job summary

C-TEC Solar, LLC in Connecticut is seeking an Electrical Foreman to lead a photovoltaic installation crew and provide technical expertise on complete solar and storage systems. The Master Electrician will communicate with operations management, ensure safe work practices, and drive quality workmanship on site.

Applicants should have a current Electrician's license, PV experience preferred, NABCEP is a plus, and the ability to work outdoors and lift heavy loads.

Qualifications

• Requires a current Electricians License.
• PV installation experience preferred.
• NABCEP certification preferred.
• Ability to work in extreme environments (hot sun, cold).
• Must climb ladders, stairs and rooftops.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must pass pre-employment criminal screen and drug test.
• 40 hour work week with some overtime.

Responsibilities

Electrical Foreman Summary:

The Electrical Foreman will provide leadership and technical expertise to a photovoltaic installation team. In this position, the Master Electrician will communicate the necessary job status data to the operations management team to assure the successful operation of complete and working systems. The ideal candidate will also lead safe working practices for the installation team.

Electrical Foreman Job Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and technical expertise for a photovoltaic installation team (three to five-person crews)
• Communicate the necessary job status data to the operations management team to assure the successful operation of complete and working systems
• Lead efforts for safe working practices of the installation team

Master Electrician Skills and Qualifications:

• Requires a current Electricians License
• Previous experience installing photovoltaic systems preferred
• NABCEP certification preferred
• Ability to work in extreme environments (example: hot sun, cold)
• Must be willing and able to climb ladders, stairs and work on rooftops
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Exercises a high level of professionalism and a positive demeanor
• Capable of lifting 50 lbs
• Must have a valid CT state driver's license and a clean driving record (example- no DUI in the last 5 years)
