Job summary

360X Staffing is seeking an on-site leader to oversee subcontractor teams on data center construction projects, specializing in fire alarm and protection systems installation.

The role requires advanced leadership of technicians, coordination with project stakeholders, and adherence to safety and quality standards. OCCasional on-call and travel may be required; strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Five years’ experience in electrical leadership over large scale commercial construction projects and/or data center/mission critical projects required.
• NICET Fire Alarm/Special Hazard certification preferred.
• Experience with fire alarm manufacturers: Kidde, Fenwal, Notifier, Fike, FCI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee subcontractor teams on-site at data center projects installing fire alarm and related systems.
• Lead and direct technicians and subcontractors on safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Coordinate with Project Manager and stakeholders to report progress to the customer.
• Complete all required paperwork for compliance and documentation.
• Respond to emergency requests and take appropriate action on site.

Job description

This role will primarily be responsible for the oversight and day to day leadership of subcontractor teams on-site at data center/mission critical constructio projects in support of the installation of fire alarm and protection systems.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• All team members must embody the company mission to provide protection for people, property, and the environment in all aspects of their job.
• Perform installations of fire alarm and clean agent/special hazard suppression systems according to work instructions and applicable codes.
• Take a lead role at cutomer site, providing oversight and direction to other technicians and sub-contractors in all areas of operation including safety, quality, efficiency, etc.
• Work with the Project Manager, General Superintendent, Subcontractor Foreman and other project stakeholders to keep the customer informed on job progress.
• Complete all necessary job-related paperwork for compliance and documentation.
• Respond to emergency requests and take appropriate action on project site.
• Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or equivalent, required.
• Five years’ experience in electrical leadership over large scale commercial construction projects and/or data center/mission critical projects, required.
• NICET (Fire Alarm / Special Hazard) certification, preferred.
• Experience with the following fire alarm manufacturers: Kidde, Fenwal, Notifier, Fike, FCI,
• preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Knowledge of Google Suite or Microsoft and standard internet usage.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Company vehicle, tools, technology, and equipment provided.
• Occasional on-call days and/or overtime required for unscheduled service needs.
• Job duties require the ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and crawl into tight or awkward places.
• Overnight travel required up to 25% of the time.
