Job summary

Electric Power Systems seeks a Field Technician II to inspect, test, and maintain electrical power equipment ranging from high to low. Responsibilities include troubleshooting equipment issues and preparing detailed reports on maintenance performed.

Qualifications

• Able to work overtime and travel out of town for periods of time.
• Must be able to relocate to Boise, ID.
• Able to climb ladders, stand for extended periods, and lift up to 70 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, and maintain high, medium, and low electrical power equipment.
• Consult manuals, schematics, and engineering personnel for troubleshooting.
• Prepare and maintain reports detailing tests, repairs, and maintenance.

Skills

Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen

Valid driver’s license and good driving record

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Education

Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Electrical/Electronic technology

2–4 years of relevant industry experience

NETA II certification
