Pro Staff seeks an Electrical Field Superintendent to lead large-scale electrical/MEP construction on a Santa Clara project. The role involves coordinating field teams, subcontractors, and safety briefings to meet schedule and quality targets.

Requirements include 5+ years of field supervision, OSHA 30, and the ability to read construction documents. Per diem is provided and overtime paid; candidates with data center or mission-critical project experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction field supervision experience
• OSHA 30 Certification required
• High School Diploma or GED required; Construction Management or Engineering preferred
• Experience with electrical, MEP, data center, or large-scale projects preferred
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, schedules, specifications, and construction documents

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate electrical, MEP, civil, structural, and architectural construction activities
• Manage subcontractors, field teams, and daily site operations to ensure safety, schedule, and quality
• Drive project execution through planning meetings, look-ahead schedules, and trade coordination
• Monitor productivity, resolve field issues, and support project milestones
• Coordinate inspections, commissioning, system turnover, and punch list completion
• Review construction documents, RFIs, submittals, and field changes
• Maintain project reports and communication with project leadership
• Ensure compliance with OSHA requirements, local codes, permits, and project specs

Electrical Field Superintendent

Location: Santa Clara, CA

Schedule: 50-60 Hours per Week

Per Diem: $200/Day (7 Days per Week)

Overtime: Paid for All Hours Worked Over 40 Per Week

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Field Superintendent to lead field construction activities on a large-scale, mission-critical project. This contract opportunity is ideal for construction leaders with experience managing electrical, MEP, data center, industrial, or large commercial construction projects in fast-paced environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate electrical, MEP, civil, structural, and architectural construction activities


• Manage subcontractors, field teams, and daily site operations to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and within quality standards


• Drive project execution through planning meetings, look-ahead schedules, trade coordination, and safety briefings


• Monitor productivity, resolve field issues, and support project milestones


• Coordinate inspections, commissioning, system turnover, and punch list completion


• Review construction documents, RFIs, submittals, and field changes


• Maintain project reports, progress documentation, and communication with project leadership


• Ensure compliance with OSHA requirements, local codes, permits, and project specifications

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction field supervision experience


• Experience with electrical systems, MEP construction, utility infrastructure, or mission-critical projects preferred


• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, commissioning, and field execution


• OSHA 30 Certification required


• High School Diploma or GED required


• Construction Management, Engineering, or related education preferred


• Experience with Procore, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office


• Ability to read and interpret drawings, schedules, specifications, and construction documents
