Job summary

Strata is seeking a Manager of Electrical Technical Services to lead field-service operations for dragline electrical systems and related mining equipment. The role blends hands-on field work with technical leadership and client-facing activities.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in mining electrical systems, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and willingness to travel extensively to mine sites and training locations.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in mining equipment, heavy industrial equipment, or field service.
• Experience with dragline electrical systems, PLCs, motors, and generators.
• Strong problem solving, communication, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary hands-on technical resource for dragline electrical systems and related mining equipment.
• Lead and develop Electrical Dragline Field Services capabilities while performing field-service work.
• Perform electrical commissioning, startup, inspections, testing, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and maintenance support.
• Work with customer personnel to identify and resolve electrical-system issues.
• Provide advanced support for power distribution, controls, protection systems, and PLCs.
• Develop maintenance programs and service documentation.
