Eaton’s Electrical Engineering Systems & Services division is seeking a Field Service Representative in the Baton Rouge area. You will perform installs, tests, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical switchgear at customer sites across industries.

The role requires travel with a company car, a guaranteed 40-hour week, and a valid US driver’s license. Salary range listed is $69,000–$101,000 per year, based on skills and experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or higher with at least 2 years of electrical or mechanical industry experience, or trade school with 5+ years servicing electrical distribution or control systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is preferred.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Work on assigned projects for electrical equipment.
• Deliver technical solutions to customers.
• Perform complex engineering assignments involving equipment design, testing, or research investigations.
• Display proficiency in Test Equipment Operation, Troubleshooting Techniques, Protective Relays, Power Quality Measurements, Disaster Recovery, Rotating Machinery, and Protection & Control Design.
• Generate timely and accurate service reports on work, product performance, and warranties.
