Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Field General Foreman for healthcare construction projects in West Palm Beach. You will lead and instruct a team, coordinating with managers, clients, suppliers, and project staff to ensure project success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience on healthcare construction projects.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents.
• Effective communication skills.
• Knowledge of scheduling and cost control in construction.

Responsibilities

• Plans and supervises activities including method, sequencing, manpower levels, materials, equipment, and schedule.
• Trains and manages field staff.
• Manages day-to-day field operations through Foremen.
• Creates and maintains project schedule with Project Manager.
• Communicates site issues to Project Manager and owner.
• Resolves field construction problems.
• Ensures subcontractors meet schedules and quality standards.
• Monitors safety program and conducts toolbox talks.
• Assists Safety with incident investigations.
• Coordinates with subcontractors to meet contract requirements.
• Supports change orders, cost/time forecasts, and claims negotiation.
• Performs project close-out and punch list follow-up.
• Mentors Project Associates on the project.
