Mass Electric Construction Co. (MEC) is seeking an Engineer II in Field Operations to support project engineering and controls for infrastructure construction. The role emphasizes clear communication, meticulous planning, and teamwork across multiple disciplines.

You may travel or relocate as projects demand, joining a company with a long industrial heritage. Base pay ranges $95,000–$105,000 yearly, with comprehensive health benefits and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' construction field experience.
• Ability to read, analyze and identify discrepancies on engineering plans, specifications, and contract documents.
• Willingness to travel/relocate as needed and to work in various locations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in interpretation of drawings and specifications for field crews and craft supervision.
• Perform quantity calculations and takeoffs from drawings and contract documents.
• Assist in preparing work plans, surveys, and data collection for project records.
• Support job hazard analysis, safety reviews, and daily reporting.
• Coordinate material deliveries, scheduling and field operations supervision.
• Assist in estimating data, bid preparations, and cost reporting.
