Qualifications

• Must be licensed and insured to drive.
• Have or ability to obtain a Class A CDL.
• Journeyman electrical certification is strongly recommended.
• Master electrician certification is encouraged.
• Willing to earn certifications as asked by supervisor.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
• Advanced knowledge of electrical work and understanding of electrical codes.
• Must be proficient in welding, metalwork, carpentry, and other hands-on skills.
• Possesses problem solving capabilities and understands the operational process of all cooperative facilities.
• Must have strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Ability to quickly adapt to changes of plans and coordinate those changes efficiently.
• Background knowledge of electrical, plumbing, construction, remodeling, concrete, wiring, metal fabrication, and basic mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and repair buildings, equipment, and systems.
• Maintain facilities and respond to maintenance emergencies.
• Repair grain shoots, augers, dryers, and electrical components.
• Assist with inventory and parts orders.
• Coordinate with supervisors and contractors on projects.
• Ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
