Job summary

Client Mission Systems is seeking a Maintenance professional to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The Maintenance professional performs repairs and maintenance on building infrastructure, equipment and machines in our manufacturing and office facilities.

The ideal candidate will have experience in all maintenance trades with primary experience in the electrical trade, including three-phase systems, branch circuits, and conduit installation.

Qualifications

• 2 years of electrical experience plus the ability to perform various carpentry and plumbing tasks.
• Ability to perform work from ladders, scaffolds and powered lift platforms.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Clean, valid NYS driver’s license.
• Ability to change between Amherst building locations based upon need.
• Ability to be subject to both external and internal environmental conditions.
• Ability to wear safety gear as needed to perform specific functions.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance on building infrastructure, equipment and machines in manufacturing and office facilities.
• Conduct routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns.
• Use hand and power tools; test, inspect, troubleshoot and repair machines and equipment.
• Read blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications.
• Clear walkways of snow and ice and apply treatment to these surfaces.
