Job summary

W3Global is seeking an Electrical Estimator to lead cost estimation for electrical projects, reviewing drawings, specs, and codes to deliver accurate bids.

You will use HeavyBid, Bluebeam, and MS Office to prepare proposals, analyze material and labor costs, and coordinate with project managers and subcontractors.

This in-person role requires NEC and NFPA 70 familiarity plus strong negotiation, budgeting, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction estimating focused on electrical systems and projects.
• Strong ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.
• Excellent negotiation and communication with suppliers and clients.
• Proficiency with estimating software and MS Office.
• Ability to develop accurate cost proposals and bid packages.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings, schematics, and specs to develop precise estimates.
• Prepare detailed cost proposals using HeavyBid and Bluebeam.
• Analyze material costs and labor hours to set competitive pricing.
• Ensure compliance with NEC and NFPA 70 standards.
• Collaborate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors on scope and pricing.
• Monitor budgets during estimating and adjust estimates as needed.
