Job summary

Design Solutions and Integration (DSI) seeks an experienced Electrical Estimator based in Midland, TX to support Permian Basin operations. Frequent field walks with customers, direct scope development, and estimating from site visits are core responsibilities.

You will work closely with the DSI Sales Team to pursue opportunities and with Project Managers to ensure smooth handoffs and cross‑division alignment. A strong McCormick Systems proficiency is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical estimating for oil & gas projects.
• Ability to scope, design-build, and estimate from site walks and customer requests.
• Willingness to learn McCormick Systems platform.

Responsibilities

• Support Permian Basin operations and field team (approx. 55 electricians).
• Collaborate with Sales Team to secure new opportunities and coordinate with Project Managers.

Role Overview

DSI is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator with an Oil & Gas background to support our Permian Basin operations and field team of approximately 55 electricians. Based out of our Midland, TX office, this role requires frequent travel for field job walks with customers.

You will collaborate closely with the DSI Sales Team to secure new opportunities while partnering with Project Managers to ensure seamless communication, smooth handoffs, and alignment across all DSI divisions.

Requirements

• Electrical Estimator with an Oil & Gas background
• Strong field knowledge to scope, design-build, and estimate projects directly from site walk-throughs and verbal customer requests
• Strong industrial electrical estimating experience
• Strong willingness to learn the McCormick Systems platform
• Proficiency in McCormick Systems software is highly preferred
