Job summary

Austinindl in Dallas, Texas, is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator for our North Texas Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting quantity/cost take-offs, developing clarifications, and identifying conflicts in project documentation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of estimating experience in the electrical construction industry.
• Familiarity with construction materials, means, and methods.
• Proficient in relevant estimating software.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quantity/cost take-offs.
• Develop accurate clarifications and assumptions.
• Identify conflicts in plans and specifications.
• Distribute bid documents.
• Develop unit costs.

Skills

Estimating experience in electrical construction

Strong math and technology ability

Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities

Education

BS/BA in engineering or relevant discipline
