A-C Electric Company in Fresno, CA is seeking an Electrical Estimator to turn construction documents, project requirements, and market information into accurate estimates for electrical construction projects. Depending on experience, you may support experienced estimators or take increasing ownership of estimates, bid reviews, and value-engineering.

You will review drawings and specifications, perform quantity takeoffs, and coordinate vendor pricing to develop competitive bids.

Qualifications

• Review drawings and specifications to develop electrical construction estimates.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and determine material and labor requirements.
• Coordinate vendor and subcontractor pricing and RFQs.
• Prepare bids for review and decision-making and participate in bid reviews.
• Contribute to project scoping and value-engineering discussions.

Responsabilités

• Develop electrical construction estimates by reviewing drawings and specs, performing quantity takeoffs, and determining material and labor needs.
• Coordinate pricing with vendors and subcontractors, issue RFQs, track responses, and maintain pricing data.
• Prepare bid information and assist in bid reviews; lead when assigned.
• Evaluate project scope against drawings and specifications; discuss scope and pricing questions and value-engineering opportunities.
• Collaborate with Estimating Team and Operations during pursuit, bid handoff, and project kickoff.
