Job summary

Interstates in Tulsa, OK is seeking an Electrical Estimator II to turn drawings, specs, and ideas into clear, accurate estimates for industrial projects. You will build competitive estimates and collaborate with clients, vendors, and internal teams.

The role requires 2-3 years of estimating experience in industrial electrical environments, a bachelor's degree or equivalent, and strong analytical and communication skills. Office-based, with travel to job sites as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Build accurate, competitive estimates for industrial electrical projects.
  • Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents to define scope and pricing.
  • Partner with clients, vendors, and internal teams to clarify project details and develop scope.
  • Analyze labor units, cost history, and production data to strengthen estimates.
  • Identify risks, gaps, and value-add opportunities and communicate them clearly.
  • Support proposal development and bid strategy with the proposal team.
  • Document assumptions, clarifications, and decisions throughout the bid cycle.
  • Assist with contract review, negotiations, and project handoff to execution teams.
  • Support change orders and cost-to-complete estimates on active projects.
  • Contribute to improving estimating methods, tools, and standards.

What you'll do

In this role, you will:

Compensation and benefits

Salary: $85,000-$95,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications, with bonus opportunities.
