Sundt Construction is seeking Estimator I and II candidates for its preconstruction department in Tempe, Arizona. These roles involve supporting single large electrical projects and multiple smaller ones, performing quantity takeoffs and assisting in project logistics.
The ideal candidates will have experience in electrical estimating, a four-year engineering degree, and proficiency in estimating software like Accubid. This position offers competitive pay and benefits aligned with employee ownership programs.
Estimator I and II titles are developmental positions within the preconstruction department. The El/Ell provides support for single large electrical projects or multiple smaller electrical projects. Primary duties include participation in bid efforts, working with teams on Design Build and CM at Risk delivery methods, and providing administrative support to the electrical estimating department. The El/Ell is expected to be competent in basic electrical estimating tasks and is developing an understanding of more advanced estimating principals including conceptual estimating, project logistics, and indirect costs specific to electrical projects.
