Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team in Iowa. As an Electrical Estimator, you will play a key role in the planning and implementation of electrical projects, including data center and communication infrastructure. You will be responsible for estimating project costs, managing budgets, and leading teams to ensure successful project completion.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and submit accurate and timely electrical project estimates using specialized software such as Accubid.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to understand project requirements and develop comprehensive cost estimates.
  • Analyze project plans, specifications, and requirements to determine the most cost-effective electrical solutions.
  • Manage and control project budgets to ensure projects are completed within financial guidelines.
  • Supervise and provide leadership to teams to ensure project goals are met.
  • Utilize your expertise in electrical systems and technology to provide innovative solutions for clients.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in electrical estimating, particularly within data center and communication infrastructure projects.
  • Proficiency in using Accubid or similar estimating software.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and effectively communicate with stakeholders.
