Qualifications

• 1–3 years of estimating experience required.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Ability to pass a drug and background screen.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for electrical construction projects.
• Analyze project documents, drawings, and specs for quantities and costs.
• Perform material and labor takeoffs and coordinate with suppliers.
• Maintain/update cost databases with pricing information.
• Create detailed cost breakdowns and participate in bid meetings.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and propose value engineering.
• Assess risks and develop contingency plans for estimates.
• Document estimating activities and communicate results to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Engage in ongoing professional development related to estimating practices.
• Perform additional duties as required by leadership.
